Interview with Lynne of The Embroidery Stop

My name is Lynne Anderson, and I am the proud owner of The Embroidery Stop. I have been sewing for the past 9 years or so, after my husband drafted me to work in his leather shop. I was scared to death at first, I had never sewn a stitch! But I quickly came to love sewing, and made most of my daughter's clothes when she was little. From my first used 70's model machine, I have wanted more! Fancy stitches, embellishment, etc. Once I learned about machine embroidery, I pined for a machine that could do that. It took several years, but I finally got a little 4x4 embroidery only machine around 6 years ago. I already knew about some of the wonderful designs available online, and knew I wanted to be able to do that too. I have used several different digitizing programs over the years, finally settling on Embird Studio 2 years ago. I have had SO much fun creating designs not only for the kids in our lives, but also for US! I love fantasy designs, so you will find a lot of those in my lineup, as well as some fun stuff for children, holiday designs, florals and more.

I live in the Black Hills of South Dakota with my husband and two of my three children. It is truly a gorgeous and inspiring place to live and work!
